When I look outside my window, I’m supposed to see you.
You’re supposed to be in that window across from mine, but you’re not.
I wish I took the opportunity to get to know you, but I didn’t.
And now you’re gone.  Forever.

I love the way you smile and the way you laugh.
When you step back and forward or move side to side,
Its obvious your motions are so fluid and flawless.
You’re someone the world needs, but barely has.

You accept people the way they are,
even when they don’t share your loving nature.
You’re always so happy, even when you’re not.
But now your smile is faded.

I love your voice and the way you speak
You say what you want with confidence and without embarrassment.
You take care not to hurt others with your words.
